We attended Ben and Tiff’s wedding last Sunday at the Smog Shoppe in Culver City. Best part was the photobooth.

Making use of every last minute of our precious weekends, we’ve been Weekend Warrior-ing it up this last month. Everything from Jello’s surf trips, rock climbing and fishing. Tbang’s really been the main source of this short tradition running, hopefully we’ll keep it up.

Thanks to everyone who could make it to Noah’s first birthday party!
After arriving an hour early to claim some picnic tables at the park, we celebrated Noah’s 1st with lots of yummy food, cake, cupcakes, and ice t. The kiddies ran around and took rides on Miss Hannah’s car, pulled on Elmo, the pinata, and blew bubbles after collecting candy and toys and stuffing themselves with banana cupcakes. For some, it was their first time meeting Noah, after following the first year of his life on this blog. For others, they were amazed at how big he’s grown in the last few months since they’d seen him last. There were friends that couldn’t make it, but we’ll be sure to celebrate with a play date sometime soon! We’ve posted pictures online here.

Noah has a new cousin, Caitlyn Ma, born on May 11th in Hong Kong. What a cutie! Noah can’t wait to meet her later this year. He’ll be almost one year old when we go over there this fall and Caitlyn will be almost six months. It’s so great to have little cousins to play with…
Until then, there are still lots of friends for Noah to play with in LA. We haven’t seen Christian Bang in a while, but he did have a chance to play with Alexis and Ryan Moon over the long weekend, who are 3 and 14 months old. Alexis is old enough to bottle feed Noah and the little boys even took a baby nap together! So cute…
And let’s not forget the babies that he has to visit when he goes to Seattle…(Madeleine McDowell, born on May 23rd).

Noah accompanied me to a little reunion with a couple of friends from SIXTH grade. That means I’ve known these girls for almost TWENTY years…okay, that’s a scary realization. But we found a hidden bamboo tea garden in West Hollywood across the street from the Bodhi Tree Bookstore, where a friendly little dog decided to jump on our laps and hang out for a while. Noah looked on with awe and curiosity. I just couldn’t stop taking pictures of my cutie-pie…call me Mama-paparazzi.
